The Clew Bay Tourism Network is a voluntary group tasked with delivering the actions set out in the Clew Bay Destination & Experience Development Plan 2022 - 2026. The network is supported by Fáilte Ireland, Mayo County Council, the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Udarás na Gaeltachta & South West Mayo Development Company and is chaired by Michael Lennon (Westport Woods Hotel) and Chris McCarthy (Achill Tourism).

Economic Impact of proposed Belclare to Murrisk Greenway
Following a request made by the Clew Bay Tourism Network to Fáilte Ireland in February 2025 an economic impact assessment of the proposed Greenway extension from Belclare to Murrisk was undertaken. Headline findings as follows:
A conservative estimate suggests 72,000 new users in its first year, contributing approximately €1.6 million to the local economy.
It is expected to attract 944,000 users over its first 10 years.
These visitors could add over €21m to the local economy during that time.
